Here is a brief history of our history.
The club was founded long time ago but it was not until 1981 the women´s section of the club was founded. This was a big step for the club and for the society in Mid Surrey.
At that time the club was based in Malden Wanderes Cricket club at New Malden. But after a while we moved to University of London Sports Ground in Motspur Park. This happened in in 1997. But when Fulham FC grew in the area, the club had to move again. Joining forces with NPL-Lensbury the club colours as long as the partner arribacasino.com logo had to be carried by just the ladies from now on. Luckily a new pitch happened to be built around the same time, enabling the women´s team to prosper.
However, it has been tough to field a full team every week lately, but thanks to the captains we have been able to keep everything up and running. With no clubhouse it has been tough fighting off bigger neighbourhood clubs for talent. We aim to keep struggling for years but at the end of the day it will be worth it. The passion for hockey brought us together and that will not go away any time soon!
